Fleet Management in Odoo

Fleet Management with odoo allows transportation companies to accomplish a series of specific tasks relating to a company's fleet of vehicles. These specific tasks encompass all operations from vehicle information, services, fuel logs, odometer details, insurance, drivers and towing. It helps in improving efficiency, productivity, scheduling of maintenance and servicing tasks, import of fuel transactions and measuring of fleet performance via reports and charts which helps in reducing overall transportation and staff costs.

Vehicle Data Management

Each vehicle service log is maintained individually with information like type of services, their last service done and next service due date with odometer details. Service data log can be viewed graphically for analysis purpose.

Odometer details management

Odometer information is stored in this menu, which can be updated with every trip, number of kilometers travelled by individual vehicle. It gives detailed information about total kilometers from beginning (when vehicle purchased) till the present date vehicle has traveled. Graphical view of odometer is represented vehicle wise.

Fuel logs management

Refueling details are maintained in fuel logs, with odometer details & invoices. It also gives information regarding fuel consumed in a particular vehicle and additional information regarding vehicle owner and fleet service provider.

Drivers Management

It manages driver details, name, address, contact number, email id, driving license number and license details. It also maintains drivers log regarding vehicle driven and vehicle assigned for transportation.

Insurance Management

Insurance details are maintained with the name of insurance company, policy number, policy expiry date and renew date. Policy premium and insured amount details are also maintained. Insurance policy terms and conditions document can be attached/uploaded in the system.

Towing

Tow orders are maintained for each and every vehicle like towing calls information, vehicle towed and odometer details. At the time of picking/dropping serviced vehicle information with location details are also maintained. System also display current position of towing orders.
