Odoo ERP v10 MRP under maintenance – Work Centers and Machines & Tools

We have two concepts in Odoo under maintenance – Work Centers (a place where production is done) And Machines & Tools (individually). Maintenance request can be created manually from the control panel on the tablet.

So you can go under Equipment and define Preventive Maintenance Frequency with duration. It automates a preventive calendar for the department to work on. You can also set Expected Mean Time before Failure – a key statistics for every maintenance team. It will than automatically compute Mean Time before Failure & Mean Time to Repair based on the past operations on the machines.

So it takes into account the blocking time which affects the OEE. If we look under equipment for work centers’ efficiency we have OEE, the number of lost hours, Efficiency Factor, OEE Target, Cost per Hour etc.

You have Maintenance Request Reporting Chart just like any other function in the Odoo.

In MRP v10 you get a great variety of reports on MRP, Quality, Maintenance, and PLM. All the KPI of goods in the manufacturing industry is fully computed for you. There is no need for an admin to create excel sheets and distribute them in departments as now it is computed and read by the system.
