Energy Care Company manufactures electricity meters, each comprising 24 components, including two critical components—PCB and Top Cover—tracked with serial-number and linked to the final assembled unit.
Key challenges: Lack of serial number traceability for subcomponents, Manual work order handling across six production stages, No system for rework/redirection of failed units, Manual test result entry causing errors and bottlenecks, Poor visibility across work centers for operators and managers.

Work Center Configuration
Setup of 7 work centers with team-based access control:

PCB serial scanning, Auto-link with Meter SN, Validation on duplicate usage, Rework redirection.

Excel import of test data (up to 16 meters), Auto-pass or fail logic, Failed units auto-routed.

Top Cover
Top Cover SN linked to Meter SN, Cross-verification with PCB linkage.

Accuracy
Test data entry through excel sheets, Result validation, Failed units routed to Rework.

Functional & Packing
Manual PASS/FAIL tagging, Double-check before and after packing, Quality control enforced.

Added a dedicated Rework Station with complete traceability.

Added Send to Rework Station button at each stage. Complete traceability of reworked meters. System pauses original workflow until rework is completed successfully.
Work Center Configuration
7 work centers with dedicated Rework Station. Team-based access control: Operators view only their work orders. Role-Based Access to work center-specific dashboards.
